Our Sailing Spain packages offer you the opportunity to sail east from Gibraltar, taking in the best of the Costa del Sol with its lovely sandy beaches and lively nightlife, or head west for the more rugged coastline, traditional Spanish towns and hospitality. (see below for example itineries)

Sailing Spain packages can be tailored to suit your needs and are designed to be a relaxed introduction to the joys of sailing and life at sea. For the more adventurous we can also offer a more intense sailing holiday, incorporating longer passages and night sails. This is the perfect opportunity for you to take control of a larger vessel with the confidence of knowing that a crewmember is never far away.

Our short breaks in Spain are from 3–5 days and can be a great way to spend a weekend or a few days, they fit easily around a busy working schedule. You can fly into Gib and be out on the water within the hour, making the most of your time.

Along the spanish coast there are some great places to visit such as Tarifa , Europes capital of kite surfing, and the beautiful spanish town of Estepona, with some of our favorite tapas bars, where you can eat and drink until the early hours.

Our sailing Spain longer breaks are for 5 days or more, they are more flexible and can be tailored to include many locations and activities. Places futher afield can be reached and inland excursions can be arranged.
For example with our longer breaks in Spain it is possible to reach the inland city of Seville, sailing up the  Rio Guadalquivir, an exciting experience which winds its way through a nature park teaming with wild horses, pigs, ospreys and flamingoes.

Example short breaks in Spain 3-night itinerary

Day 1:

• Embark yacht Tomboy and get settled into your cabins. Coffee, cakes and safety brief then set sail to Duquesa

• Sail around the rock of Gibraltar and up the Spanish coast, drop anchor for a spot of lunch and a swim then continue sailing towards Duquesa.

• Moor up, showers and change for a night out in the port.
  
  

Day 2:

• Relaxing morning on the yacht with breakfast onboard then the option of going to the beach for a few hours or straight out onto the water for more sailing heading up towards Estepona

• Drop anchor for lunch and a swim, with the opportunity to take a dingy ride to shore for a drink in a typical Spanish cheringuito (beach bar).

• Then a relaxed sail into Estepona's marina.

• Moor up, showers and out exploring the town of Estepona. Here with our local knowledge we can take you to one of the best tapas bars to eat and drink the night away.
  
  

Day 3:

• A leisurely rise and set sail back towards Gibraltar Marina Bay, with stops along the way for a spot of lunch, swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing.

• Moor up in Gibraltar with the opportunity of eating a slightly more English cuisine and relaxed night.

Day 4:

• The option to go explore the rock, taking a trip to see “monkeys”, Saint Michaels Cave, the Siege tunnels, Moorish castle and being able to take advantage of the duty free shopping.

• Depart the yacht in time to catch your flight.
