Sailing Gibraltar

Gibraltar sailing, from £60 per person, combines either a day sail/overnight sailing packages with stops in protected anchorages, dolphin spotting and exhilarating sailing.

Gibraltar is a fantastic place to set sail from.  With 2 continents and 2 seas there is so much to see and do right on our doorstep!  Sailing the straits with their unique conditions, consistent winds and abundance of marine wildlife, there is never a dull moment!

Gibraltar sailing combines either a day sail or an overnight trip, with stops in protected anchorages, a chance meeting with one of the many pods of dolphins resident in the area and exhilerating sailing.

For those with a little less time we offer a 2 hour taster / Sunset Sail. Prices from £30pp

With our overnight sailing packages we offer the choice of many places to visit. Along the Spanish coast anywhere from Estapona to Tarifa can be explored or visited. Ceuta, a spanish enclave, in North Africa and Smir in Morocco are also exciting and culturally diverse overnight destinations.

After a great day sail we offer the opportunity to enjoy a night in town or a relaxing evening under the stars with a few drinks and nibbles onboard.

Activities on a day sail or any of our overnight sailing packages can include:

• Learning to sail (We are both RYA qualified instructors)

All trips can be tailored to suit an individual or group’s requests.

Tomboy sailing are pleased to be able to offer sunset sails as one of our Gibraltar sailing packages.
Sail across the bay whilst watching the sun set enjoying champagne and canapés. This relaxing sail lasts around two to three hours depending on your request.

Day Sail Itinerary

• 10.00am Emabark Yacht Tomboy in Marina Bay, Gibraltar for tea, coffee and bisquits.

• Sail around the Bay of Gibraltar enjoying the local marine life.

• Anchor up for a spot of lunch, sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and maybe even some fishing.

• Way anchor for some more sailing, off out into the famous strait of Gibraltar.

• Enjoy some homemade cakes onboard and maybe even have a tasty beer.

• Return back to marina bay around 4pm and depart Tomboy.

One of our many overnight sailing package itineraries

• 09.00am embark yacht Tomboy in marina bay, Gibraltar for tea, coffee, biscuits and croissants.

• Sail across the straits of Gibraltar to Ceuta, North Africa. A Spanish enclave in Morocco.

• Moor up and depart the yacht with the opportunity to explore the city of Ceuta itself. Taking lunch ashore yourselves in any of the local restraunts. There is also the option of spending some time by the beautiful pool of the Parque de Martitimo del Mediterraneo.

• embark yacht Tomboy around 4.30pm to sail back across the strait of Gibraltar whist watching the sunset.

• Enjoy afternoon tea and snacks on board during the sail.

• Return back to Marina bay around 8pm and depart the yacht.
