A day with Tomboy Sailing is the perfect opportunity to provide a day of pleasure and adventure for clients or employees. For business executives it is as a pleasant alternative to the usual business lunch. You can have a choice of learning to sail the yacht or sit back and enjoy a bit of dolphin spotting or fishing. Tomboy Sailing offers the perfect opportunity so your team can work together, communicating and making decisions quickly identifying the teams strength’s and areas which can be enhanced.

The Days Objective - FOCUS

what is necessary to pull a team together to enhance performance and reach their target.

Throughout the day all members of your team will rotate into various positions on the yacht. Each member has the opportunity to skipper the yacht. The skipper has to make decisions quickly and delegate instructions to his ‘crew’. The beauty of using sailing  as a ‘team building tool’ is that it needs a whole crew to work together, communicating and implementing instructions. Your employees will improve on leadership skills, decision making and show a competitive edge.

Learn while you are having fun sailing!

No previous sailing experience is necessary.
We are both fully qualified RYA instructors and through the day we will mould your team into an efficient highly organised motivated machine.

Example of TEAM BUILDING itinerary:

10.00am - Introductions and a brief on safety. Walking the yacht to familiarise yourselves. Tea and coffee and freshly baked cake served.

10.30am - Set sail. Introduction to sailing. Learning the various tasks involved.

12.00pm - On anchor with lunch served in a nice sheltered bay.

13.00pm - Afternoon sail including lots of team building various tasks.

17.00pm - Return to Marina Bay. Briefing of the day’s events.
